When thinking of optimising your website consider optimising webpages instead. Generally when you’ve selected your keywords, and want to optimise for a Google search or any other search engine, it is a good idea to optimise a page for a particular keyword. So as a strategy consider creating a separate webpage for every keyword or phrase.

You will notice in a Google search results page will present the most relevance webpage to the term or keyword typed into the search box. It is the webpage not the website that is relevant.

So an effective starting strategy would be to create a separate page for each keyword you optimising for.
